According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the individual responsible fired multiple shots at the Evergreen Health Clinic late Thursday afternoon before taking his own life as law enforcement arrived on the scene.
The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 32000 block of Ellingwood Trail, near the intersection of Bergan Parkway and Evergreen Parkway, in the northern part of Evergreen. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire, and upon arrival, deputies discovered extensive damage to the building, including numerous bullet holes in the walls and shattered glass scattered across the premises. Thankfully, no victims were identified at the scene, and there were no injuries reported among patients or staff present during the shooting.
