Sherry Taylor Lenoir Cause Of Death, Obituary: Celebration Of Life

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Sherry Elaine Lenoir, 59, of Reno, who departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2026. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, church community, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Sherry’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, with Dr. Danny Moody officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation thirty minutes prior to the service to offer condolences and share memories.

Sherry was born on September 25, 1966, in Denton, Texas, to Phil and Jeanie Taylor. She grew up surrounded by family and faith, values that remained central throughout her life. As a devoted member of East Paris Baptist Church, Sherry found great joy in her Sunday School class and cherished the fellowship and spiritual connection she shared with her church family.

Sherry had a gentle and creative spirit. She enjoyed crocheting, often crafting thoughtful handmade pieces for those she loved. She found comfort in reading and simple pleasure in relaxing evenings spent watching her favorite shows. Yet above all, her greatest joy came from her family—especially her beloved grandchildren. Anniston Taylor White, Baker David White, and Reese Dowe White were truly the light of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Hilliary White, and son-in-law Ryan; her cherished grandchildren; her parents, Phil and Jeanie Taylor; and her siblings, Molly Williams and husband Kevin, Jim Taylor and wife Lori, and Natalie McDaniel and husband Steve. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members who will continue to honor her memory.

Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Brock Baker, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents. While her family grieves deeply, they find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her.

We extend our sincere condolences to the Lenoir and Taylor families. May Sherry’s life be remembered for her faith, her kindness, and the unwavering love she gave so freely. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
